Türkiye has expressed hope that conditions will be created for the signing of a final peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia following the parliamentary elections held in Armenia the previous day, Turkish Foreign Ministry reports.
Ankara welcomed the results of the vote and wished that they would serve the prosperity of the Armenian people.
"We hope that in the post-election period, conditions will be created that will make it possible to sign a final peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia," the ministry said.
The ministry also noted that Türkiye will continue to support the process of ensuring stability in the region based on the common interests of the South Caucasus countries.
