Russia's President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held several conversations in Astana on May 28 on the sidelines of official events. They also briefly exchanged views on the situation in Armenia, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
“They had several conversations yesterday during the events. There was a brief exchange of views regarding Armenia. However, there was no substantive discussion, as there simply was not enough time,” he explained.
“But during the informal dinner, they had the opportunity to have a very good conversation together; it was quite a lengthy exchange,” Peskov noted.
