Iranian oil pipelines could explode in about three days if the US naval blockade of the Islamic Republic continues, US President Donald Trump said, NY Post reports.
The US leader stressed that a huge amount of oil flows through Iran's oil pipelines.
And if for some reason this line is closed due to the impossibility of unloading storage facilities or ships—which is happening now, because Iran has no ships due to the blockade, then this line could explode from the inside, he said in an interview with Fox News.
Trump added that Iran has about three days left until this happens.
According to the US president, in the event of such a development of events, Iran could lose half of its oil production capacity.
