The meeting between the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, and the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, kicked off in Istanbul.
Hasmik Hakobyan, a deputy of the Civil Contract faction of the National Assembly, has published a video from the meeting on her Facebook page.
“Another round of Armenia–Azerbaijan negotiations,” she wrote alongside the video.
The delegation led by the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, who is on a working visit to Istanbul, is participating in the plenary session of the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
Within the framework of the Assembly, the President of the National Assembly has also had brief interactions with counterparts from other countries.
