The situation around us is complicated. Especially against the background of all this, it is important to further deepen our cooperation. Our countries and peoples are connected by historical friendly ties, and this serves as the basis for the strategic partnership between Armenia and Georgia. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during a joint statement with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“Of course, we are very happy and excited that we have very high-level cooperation, and we are always interested in deepening our strategic partnership, deepening strategic, friendly ties between our countries. The basis of this friendship is mutual respect, common interests,” he said.
Kobakhidze also thanked Armenia for supporting Georgia’s national interests. He especially expressed gratitude for supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
“In the framework of the committee session, I also thanked my colleague for supporting the resolution supporting Georgia in the UN General Assembly,” he said.
