Countries of the Persian Gulf have stressed the need for Iran to immediately cease its attacks in order to ensure the stability of global energy markets. This is stated in a declaration by the Gulf Cooperation Council.
“The Gulf Cooperation Council emphasizes the necessity of the immediate cessation of attacks by Iran and reaffirms the importance of ensuring maritime navigation and air transport security in the region, as well as protecting supply chains and maintaining the stability of global energy markets,” the statement said.
