The process of normalization of relations with Armenia may have a positive impact not only on political dialogue, but also on the development of economic cooperation, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar said, according to Azerbaijani media.
Bayraktar noted that Ankara supports the normalization of relations, especially in terms of expanding economic ties.
As per the Turkish official, Armenia may become a participant in the energy cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Bayraktar emphasized that the normalization of relations also implies the creation of new opportunities for interaction.
“In essence, the normalization of relations also implies the normalization of economic relations. We can develop cooperation in the energy sector and use the existing opportunities in that direction. I hope that this process will continue for the benefit of all parties,” the Turkish minister said.
