The issue related to the import of liquefied gas will be resolved soon. The Ministry of Economy told 1Lurer.am that Russian liquefied gas will be imported to Armenia by rail through the territory of Azerbaijan.
“At present, we are facing problems related to the import of liquefied gas, the main reasons being that we import it from Iran and Russia. In Iran, the situation is due to well-known circumstances, while in Russia’s case it is linked to the Upper Lars checkpoint. This issue will be resolved soon, as we will be able to import Russian liquefied gas to Armenia by rail via the territory of Azerbaijan,” the Ministry said.
