Another meeting of the Armenian Interagency Commission on the Issues of Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing (Whereabouts Unknown) Persons was held Monday, and it was chaired by the director of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia, Andranik Simonyan.
In his opening remarks at the meeting, the chairman of this Commission and the director of the NSS of Armenia, Andranik Simonyan, reaffirmed that the issue of missing persons is considered wholly as a humanitarian issue, the NSS reports.
Then, the work carried out since the previous meeting of this commission and the steps taken to determine the fate of the missing persons were presented.
Also, future plans were discussed regarding the coordination of the search for missing persons and increasing cooperation with interested parties in the coming year.
And at the end of the meeting, the chairman of the Commission gave relevant instructions.
