A meeting between the prime ministers of Armenia and Kazakhstan, Nikol Pashinyan and Olzhas Bektenov, took place in Kazakh capital Astana.
Bektenov welcomed the official visit of the Armenian premier, and noted that it has significant importance for the further development of relations between the two countries. He expressed confidence that following the effective negotiations between the Armenian PM and the Kazakh president, his government will make every effort to successfully implement the agreements reached. Also, Bektenov congratulated Pashinyan on receiving Kazakhstan’s highest award, and added that this underscores Armenia’s status as a reliable partner for Kazakhstan.
In turn, Nikol Pashinyan thanked him for the congratulations, and said it is a great honor for him to receive Kazakhstan’s highest award. The Armenian premier emphasized his strong personal partnership established with Bektenov, and expressed gratitude for contributing to the deepening of economic ties between the two countries.
Nikol Pashinyan noted that there is significant potential for trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan, and expressed hope that new transport opportunities will provide a fresh stimulus for its effective implementation.
The interlocutors then discussed the development of relations in various domains and a number of matters related to the bilateral agenda.
