The future meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump should lead to concrete results, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio annoucned November 12 by in an interview with reporters in Canada following a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7), iz.ru reports.
It is noted that the United States is considering Russia's proposals to maintain quantitative restrictions under the Treaty on Measures for the Further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms (START Treaty).
"They [the Russian authorities] have publicly expressed some interest in this. So we are considering it. And I think we're separating this from the whole Ukrainian context", Rubio said.
