Armenia and Azerbaijan are currently discussing the sequence of hosting ministerial meetings within the '3+3' format, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan told reporters.
“In fact, as you know, we have had the opportunity to state that we attach great importance to this format. Generally, while we speak about European integration and are part of Eurasian integration, this in no way diminishes the importance of our relations with our immediate neighbors.
After meetings were held in all other capitals, it is now the turn of Armenia and Azerbaijan to host the ministerial-format meeting. We are now discussing the order of hosting with Azerbaijan. Of course, when something reaches the level of discussion between us and Azerbaijan, it is difficult to view it in a separate vacuum — one way or another, it inevitably becomes linked with the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process,” he said.
