Air defenses shot down 42 Ukrainian drones over Russia this night, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement, Sputnik reprots.
"This past night, from 23:00 Moscow time on October 10 to 7:00 Moscow time on October 11, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 42 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
It said 19 drones were shot down over the Volgograd Region, 15 over the Rostov Region, three over the Ulyanovsk Region, two over the Voronezh Region, two over the Republic of Bashkortostan, and one over the Saratov Region.
