It is the first time that it has become possible to bring peace to the South Caucasus, and that is the goal and reason for my visit. This was stated during a joint press conference with Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan by the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, adding that they are ready to continue efforts in terms of Armenia-EU partnership.
"The peace partnership is very important. We must continue not to miss the moment and make investments in the fields of transport, connectivity, as well as digitalization. It is also time to make investments in the peace process.
When we talk about economic developments, about our cooperation in theoretical relations, we often forget how important it is to live in conditions of peace. Europe is built on peace and is a partner of peace. The South Caucasus and Armenia are a very important part of the changes that will change the situation in Europe and the South Caucasus," she said.
