Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Thursday that Armenia is currently “at the highest point of prosperity in its history.”
“As of August 28, 2025, the Republic of Armenia is at the highest point of prosperity in its history,” he said at the Cabinet meeting. “Moreover, I’m not saying this as something unusual, because according to the logic of our development, we must secure the highest point of prosperity at any given time of the next year.”
Pashinyan recalled that jobs data shows that citizens are making a 50% better living now compared to 2018. “I have to add that data about public welfare also stems from the banking system’s data. Specifically, the bank deposits and accounts of resident citizens grew 141% compared to 2017.”
Lending grew 173% compared to 2017, he added, emphasizing that non-performing loans constitute only 1,2% - a historic minimum.
