The Armenia-U.S. "company", which will be created as part of the Trump Route project, will carry out the "business management" of the road and not control it, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters.
“The Armenia-United States company will not control that road but manage the road, meaning it will carry out the business management,” he said, highlighting the principle of reciprocity in the context of the project.
“We’ve never said that we are going to obstruct connection between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Azerbaijan’s benefit of having a connection, and Armenia’s benefit of intra-state and international, that is toward third countries, with reciprocal advantages, are highlighted in the principles of the Washington declaration,” Pashinyan said.
Under the Washington accords, Armenia is creating an exclusive partnership with the United States to develop the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).
