Iran wants to develop its relationship with Armenia in all directions, President Masoud Pezeshkian said at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.
“Iran wants to develop its relationship in all areas and reach a strategic level,” he said.
The countries signed multiple cooperation agreements during the visit.
“Based on the atmosphere of trust, we have great will to develop the level of cooperation. We can increase the level of cooperation especially in the field of the economy,” the Iranian president said.
He lauded the Armenian-Iranian “wonderful” cooperation in various sectors.
He said both countries have common interests in activating the Persian Gulf-Black Sea corridor.
