Reuters. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Monday (August 11) that there were no signs that Russia was preparing to put an end to its hostilities in Ukraine.
"On the contrary, they are moving their troops and forces in such a way as to launch new offensive operations," he said in an evening address, citing a report from Ukraine's intelligence.
Zelenskiy also said he had spoken to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
In a post on X following a call with Carney, Zelenskiy added that "the Russians simply want to buy time, not end the war."
