This corridor is not what has been exaggerated in the news, and Iran’s demands have been met, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said, regarding a corridor through Armenia, Mehr reported.
“[Iranian foreign minister Abbas] Araghchi recently submitted a report on this matter, and it was decided that they would discuss it. In this matter, the principle of maintaining territorial integrity, establishing establishment of a connection with Europe, and not its closing it from the north, as the regime [i.e. Israel] wanted, is observed.
The only concern is that Armenian and American companies want to build this road,” Pezeshkian noted.
