The Kremlin expects a trilateral meeting between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine to take place in the near future to continue dialogue aimed at finding a settlement for the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Friday, Reuters reports.
In an interview, Peskov said Moscow remains open to negotiations regarding the Ukraine issue, adding that no preconditions have been set for the talks to take place.
The remarks came following the recent visits to Moscow and Kiev by U.S. special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who conducted separate talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
