Investigative Committee Chairman Artur Poghosyan has held a meeting with Germany’s Ambassador to Armenia Claudia Busch.
Poghosyan said the meeting was a meaningful step toward outlining and strengthening directions of developing cooperation, according to a readout released by the Investigative Committee.
The ambassador lauded Armenia as a reliable partner both bilaterally and within the framework of international legal cooperation.
The sides noted that mutual legal support inquiries are executed in short timeframes, which is a testament to the efficiency of cooperation and mutual trust.
The opportunities of developing the professional skills and capacity of investigators, exchange of experience, legal consultation and trainings especially in the areas of tackling money laundering, bank fraud and cybersecurity were discussed.
