The Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation discussed sensitive issues that concern societies, for example, noticeable changes in the migration sector. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan during a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
“We must make efforts so that these changes do not have a negative impact on the activities of our citizens, our friendly relations,” Mirzoyan emphasized.
Issues related to the media sector were also touched upon, in particular, the regular and timely addressing of emerging issues, and additional efforts to ensure mutual understanding. “Perhaps I would add that [we discussed] the importance of refraining from unnecessary unilateral assessments and interventions through these efforts.”
The Foreign Ministers also discussed issues related to the humanitarian sector.
