Armenia's Secretary of Security Council Armen Grigoryan received the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh.
The Secretary welcomed the Minister’s visit to Armenia and highlighted the importance of increased bilateral visits, which contribute to the continuous development and strengthening of friendly relations between Armenia and Iran.
The Minister, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and confidently noted that bilateral relations have a tendency to develop.
During the meeting, Minister Nasirzadeh reaffirmed Iran’s support for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia and the independence of the countries of the region, expressing his opposition to any change in the internationally recognized borders.
