Our visit yesterday to Aragatsotn province within the framework of this visit was extremely moving, where we recorded people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh who are trying to rebuild their lives. This was stated by Annita Demetriou, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, during a joint press conference with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan.
“We are trying to support, help, and rebuild their lives on our part,” she said, and referring to her meeting with Alen Simonyan, she added, “Today’s meeting is once again proof of the excellent relations between our two countries. It could not have been otherwise, because Armenia is in our hearts. We never forget and are extremely grateful for your warm words.”
