Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz on his assumption of office, Government press office reports.
The message reads:
“I warmly congratulate you on assuming the office of Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Germany is a reliable partner of Armenia, and the Government of the Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to the continuous development of multi-sectoral cooperation with it. I am confident that during your term of office, the friendly relations established between our countries will continue to expand, based on common values and mutual trust.
We highly appreciate Germany’s support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia, the process of democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia, as well as the further deepening of the Armenia-EU partnership. I am confident that thanks to effective cooperation, we will also be able to significantly activate economic ties between Armenia and Germany.
I wish you success in your responsible mission, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Germany.”
