The official welcoming ceremony for German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who has arrived in Armenia on an official visit, was held Monday at the Armenian presidential residence.
Armenia's President Vahagn Khachaturyan welcomed his German counterpart.
The national anthems of Armenia and Germany were played by the Armenian military orchestra.
Then the two presidents introduced each other to the official delegations of their countries.
