In our ongoing discussions with both Azerbaijan and international partners, the focus has always been on issues that are left out, for example, from the text of the peace treaty or do not fit into the delimitation process, do not fit into the conversation on lifting the blockade. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said this during the session of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, noting that for a comprehensive settlement of the issue, humanitarian issues and the need to resolve them have been the focus of attention first and foremost.
“As before, we now also believe that the resolution of humanitarian issues and, of course, first of all, the release of prisoners, hostages and other detained persons is a very important component for a comprehensive settlement,” the Minister said.
