Reuters. Russian-U.S. negotiations in Saudi Arabia might provide more clarity on a possible meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, but there is no understanding on this question yet, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday (February 18).
Peskov again reiterated that President Putin has always said that Russia is ready for peace talks.
U.S. and Russian officials met on Tuesday in Riyadh for the highest-level talks to date between the two former Cold War foes on ending the war in Ukraine.
