By the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, an operational working group (headquarters) has been established to eliminate the consequences of the fire that occurred today in the Stepanavan community of Lori province, and the composition of the headquarters has been approved.
The head of the operational headquarters has been appointed Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia Davit Khudatyan.
The operational working group must organize measures aimed at eliminating the consequences of the fire and regularly submit information to the Prime Minister on the results and, if necessary, make recommendations.
This morning, at around 4:30 a.m., a fire broke out in one of the wooden buildings in the Ashotaberd district of Stepanavan. One person died.
Currently, the evacuated citizens are provided with accommodation: 29 citizens have been accommodated in hotels, 13 in the apartments of relatives.
Six of the evacuated citizens are minors.
All families are provided with food and hygiene supplies, as well as medication if necessary.
