Ambassador-at-Large Edmon Marukyan, responding to the publication of Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, wrote on his Twitter.
"The representative of Azerbaijan, spreads shameless lies by circulating an old family video and trying to cover the policy of ethnic cleansing implemented by his state and his president. Azerbaijan keeps 120,000 ethnic Armenians, including 30,000 children as hostages, cutting them off from the whole world, blocking the supply of gas and electricity and starving these people to death.
This is what Hajiyev tries to hide behind his false statement. NK resident children: Leo 3 years old & Gita 6 years old died as a consequence of a serious humanitarian situation. The government of Azerbaijan is directly responsible for this crime," Marukyan tweeted.
