War has returned to Europe. Today we are looking at a completely different Eastern neighborhood. We have heard calls for a greater EU presence and integration, as well as for the Eastern Partnership to be adjusted to partners' challenges and differentiated needs. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell wrote about this on his Twitter.
“At our annual Eastern Partnership ministerial, I suggest to continue our EaP policy in parallel to the enlargement process, as vehicle for regional cooperation. We should step up work on security and defence and continue engagement for a secure, stable and prosperous South Caucasus,” Borrell wrote.
