The deputies of the French National Assembly, accompanied by the Head of the RA NA Friendship Group Armenia-France Vladimir Vardanyan, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex on October 28.
The legislators laid flowers at the Eternal Fire perpetuating the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide and observed a one-minute of silence to honour the memory of the Holy Martyrs.
The French parliamentarians also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the exhibits documenting the Genocide and left a note in the Memory Book of Honorable Guests, noting: “We should remember the past, so that such a tragedy does not happen again. France will always stand by Armenia.”
