On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The message says:

"Dear Nikol Vovaevich,

Please accept my sincere congratulations on the national holiday of the Republic of Armenia. the Independence Day.

We attach great importance to friendly and allied relations with Armenia. It is important that our countries successfully cooperate in various fields, coordinate efforts within the EAEU, CSTO, CIS and other multilateral structures.

I am confident that the further development of constructive bilateral ties is in the fundamental interests of the Russian and Armenian peoples, and the consistent implementation of the trilateral declarations signed in 2020 and 2021 is a good basis for ensuring long-term peace and security in Transcaucasia.

I sincerely wish you good health and success in state activities, and happiness and welfare to all the citizens of fraternal Armenia."
