President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the occasion of the country's national holiday, the 70th anniversary of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
President Khachaturyan's message particularly reads:
"This year, the Republic of Armenia, and the United Kingdom are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. We are pleased to note that during this period the Armenian-British relations have consistently developed for the benefit of our peoples.
I am confident that the bilateral cooperation, based on the common values and practical interests, will continue to expand and deepen, supplemented with new, mutually beneficial and future-oriented programs.”
