Head of Armenia’s Security Council office discussed situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border with CSTO Secretary General

On August 9, CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas, who is on a working visit to Armenia, met with Hayk Petrosyan, head of the office of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia.

During the meeting, the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the latest developments around it, the possibilities of using the existing mechanisms within CSTO in the process of peaceful settlement of the situation were discussed.

The interlocutors also referred to the draft documents to be discussed at the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Council session to be held in Tajikistan in September 2021, as well as the preparation of the priorities of the forthcoming presidency of Armenia in the Organization.
