High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church in the United States and met with spiritual leader, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, the High Commissioner’s office reports.
The Commissioner provided information about our Office’s programs and discussed opportunities for cooperation with His Holiness. They agreed on appointing a Diocese liaison to continue communication and implementation of joint programs, to involve more churchgoers in our programs and to encourage connecting young people with the homeland.
The spiritual father also introduced the High Commissioner to the Chairwoman of the Neruzh Youth Union, Silvana Vartanian, who agreed to hold a virtual meeting in the near future with the participation of hundreds of Union members in order to discuss the Office’s programs in detail, as well as to develop new joint initiatives.
