As of the beginning of 2020, the average age of the population was 36.9 years, and for men and women - 34.8 and 38.8 years, respectively.
As of the beginning of 2020, 63.8% of the population of the Republic of Armenia was able-bodied population (16-62 years old), 21.5% - under working age (0-15 years old), and 14.7% - above working age (63 and older) population.
