By the decree of the RA President Armen Sarkissian, Armen Abazyan was appointed director of the RA National Security Service. By another presidential decree, Armen Abazyan was relieved of the post of Deputy Director of the National Security Service.
Prior to that, Mikael Hambardzumyan had been relieved of his post as acting director of the National Security Service by presidential decree.
