This morning, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I conducted a liturgy in Lebanon, which was attended by members of a high-ranking delegation from the Republic of Armenia.
The executive director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Haykak Arshamyan, MP Hrachya Hakobyan, Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan and others took part in the liturgy.
In his speech the Catholicos addressed the Lebanese-Armenians, urging them not to despair, to jointly "bypass the current difficulty".
Attendees prayed for the souls of those killed in the August 4 blast in the port of Beirut.
