The President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan on his birthday.
Congratulating the RA President his Italian counterpart wished him personal and family well-being. "I keep the warm memory of our meetings in Yerevan and Rome, which reaffirms the importance of Armenia-Italy relations, and I am pleased to note their continued expansion.
The desire for freedom and democracy is a feature of the common history of our peoples which has led each of us to the path of independence and the republic”, the message reads.
The President of Italy has also expressed confidence that within the framework of his forthcoming state visit to Italy President Sargsyan will be hosted at the Quirinal Palace.
