“After the meetings with presidential candidate Armen Sargsyan in Artsakh, the whole leadership of the second republic urged him to accept the offer of President Sargsyan and to register as a presidential candidate,” said Garnik Isagulyan, the advisor to the Permanent Representation of NKR.
“Serzh Sargsyan is able to calculate and to carry out long-term objectives and programs. The President assessed the time correctly, starting from the constitutional changes. It might be the only way to have new faces, which is very important for the future of Armenia and Artsakh,” continued Isagulyan.
The National Assembly started accepting nominations for the position of the fourth president of Armenia. The Head of the Public Relations Department of the Parliament told Aysor.am that there are no nominations yet. The deadline for registration is February 28.
