Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.
President Macron once again congratulated Prime Minister Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections and wished him success in his upcoming work.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the agenda of the Armenia–France strategic partnership, reaffirming their mutual readiness to consistently develop bilateral relations and expand cooperation.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked President Macron for France's continued support for Armenia's democratic reform agenda. The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral trade and economic cooperation and expanding Armenia's export opportunities.
The sides also touched upon the process of deepening the Armenia–European Union partnership, as well as issues on the regional and international agenda.
The peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan was also discussed. Both sides emphasized the importance of establishing lasting and sustainable peace in the South Caucasus.
