The Public Prosecutor made a motion to imprison Babayan for seven years. Both Babayan and his lawyer have pled not guilty.
Today the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash administrative districts published the verdict on the case of illegal turnover of IGLA and military equipment and money laundering. Samvel Babayan was sentenced to six years of imprisonment. The Public Prosecutor made a motion to imprison Babayan for seven years. Both Babayan and his lawyer have pled not guilty.
