Opposition parties have announced they are going to vote against it, while the political majority urges to vote in favor, as the budget is stabilizing and realistic.
Men, who turn 27 by December 1 of this year and have avoided military service by violating the regulations, can return and pay 200 times the basic salary, double the present sum, for every military call missed and they will be freed from criminal responsibility. The law will be in force by the end of 2019. The authors of the law are a group of MPs from ARF and RPA. They claim the project will keep away the idea that paying money will help them avoid military service. According to the deputy Defense Minister, people will not sit down, take pen and paper and calculate how much they need to avoid military service. Before discussing this project, the National Assembly finished the discussion of 2018 state budget. Opposition parties have announced they are going to vote against it, while the political majority urges to vote in favor, as the budget is stabilizing and realistic.
