This is President Dodon’s first visit to Armenia that has 25 years of diplomatic relations with Moldova.
At the invitation of President Sargsyan, Moldovan President Igor Dodon visits our country today. He will meet his Armenian colleague, the Speaker of the National Assembly and the Prime Minister, will visit Tumo, Chess Academy, Holy See and Tsitsernakaberd. This is President Dodon’s first visit to Armenia that has 25 years of diplomatic relations with Moldova. Armenia and Moldova have signed 18 documents – 17 agreements and 1 memorandum of understanding. Our President visited Moldova four years ago, Moldovan PM and Deputy PM have visited Yerevan. Last year, the trade turnover amounted to 1.3 million AMD.
