Indiana is the 48th U.S. state that recognizes the Armenian Genocide.
After recognizing the Armenian Genocide on Monday, the Congress of the American state Indiana declared Armenia Awareness Week in the state until November 12, as reported to Agenda by the head of Armenian National Committee of America. Aram Hambarian called the document, approved by the state, ‘a powerful declaration’. Indiana is the 48th U.S. state that recognizes the Armenian Genocide.
