Governor Kim Reynolds has signed a declaration dedicated to the remembrance of the Genocide, recognizing October of 2017 as “Armenian Genocide Awareness Month”. The document was signed in the governor’s office at the presence of the Armenian National Committee and representatives of local Armenian community. All the American states, with the exception of Indiana, Mississippi and Alabama, have passed resolutions recognizing the Genocide.
