“The announcement of the Parliament President of Latvia that Artsakh issue should be settled on the principle of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, contradicts the official stance of the EU,” declared the spokesperson of the Republican Party. Edward Sharmazanov noted that if the country that is a part of the European family ranks territorial integrity above the right to self-determination of the peoples, then how that country gained its independence from the USSR.
