Three of five parliamentary forces of Artsakh – “Free Motherland”, “Democratic Party of Artsakh” and “Armenian Revolutionary Federation” have decided to support Bako Sahakyan as a presidential candidate for the transitional period.
Today is the deadline of nominating presidential candidates for the transitional period of the Republic of Artsakh. For now, only the candidacy of the incumbent president Bako Sahakyan has been presented. Three of five parliamentary forces of Artsakh – “Free Motherland”, “Democratic Party of Artsakh” and “Armenian Revolutionary Federation” have decided to support Bako Sahakyan as a presidential candidate for the transitional period. The final picture will be clear tomorrow. Note that according to the new Constitution of Artsakh, during the upcoming three years until 2020, the country will be governed in transitional regime. The President elected by the Parliament will govern during this period.
