To exclude double voting: new electronic registration devices introduced at polling stations

Testing of the most anticipated innovation for elections caused a real fuss in two villages on Sunday.

Farmers with hardened fingers had to use the creams brought from Yerevan, so as to settle the inconvenience of fingerprinting. A new system of electronic registration of voters was tested during the elections of community leaders in Vardanashen and Semyonovka. The initiative is aimed at prevention of double voting.
